Gift card terms

Issuer and redemption
Each card is issued for a single business and is redeemable only at that business's participating branches on Dowo POS, by QR, barcode or code.
Value and currency
The currency is fixed when the card is issued (GHS for Ghana businesses). Cards can be spent in parts; the balance can't go below zero and can't be exchanged for cash.
Validity
Cards are valid for 12 months from purchase unless the business states otherwise on its page. We'll remind you 30 and 7 days before expiry.
Security
Anyone with the gift link or code can use the card until it's claimed. Claiming binds it to your phone or email so it can be frozen and re-issued if lost.
If a business leaves Dowoly
Existing cards stay valid until expiry, or the business funds a refund of the unused balance.
